You can put two complete sentences together with two types of sentence glue; either a comma and a conjunction, or with a semicolon. Practice with the following sentences.

1. I went to the store I bought some books.
2. Shelley ate her peas and she ate her carrots.
3. Mrs. Hislop plays the piano she loves to sing, too.
4. I love teaching junior high students they are more fun than high school students.
5. We celebrate Christmas in December we also celebrate Chanukah.
