Good Morning and GO GIANTS!
For today's Quick Write, get out the "Nothing Gold Can Stay" poem from yesterday. Then, think about everything that is "golden" in your life . . . in other words, those things, people, or events that you value and hold dear. Write a paragraph about the "golden" places of your life.

10/18/12
Get out:
1. Grammar: People and Cultures (Put it on your desk number)
2. Start a NEW Quick Writes piece of paper. Set it up in MLA format.
Answer this Quick Write:
The end of the quarter is TOMORROW. Write down everything you've learned in English class. Don't say "nothing," because I know I've taught you so many things. Write at least 1-2 paragraphs. If I'm feeling ornery and unsympathetic, I MIGHT collect this and call it a QUIZ when you're done. Mwa ha ha! Does that make you feel dumbfounded? Or maybe incredulous?
