Mrs. Hislop's Last Day

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As you probably already know, I am going to have a baby very soon . . . October 29, if the baby decides to come on time! My maternity leave will start on Monday, October 17, when Kelsey Dickman, who has up until recently been teaching at Pleasant Valley High School, will take over as your child’s teacher for the rest of the year. Ms. Dickman comes very highly recommended by the teachers and administration at PV, and Mr. Caldera and I are confident that she is the best person to teach your children for the remainder of the school year in my absence.
